Good Dog Design: Mom wants this kitchen

So my mom saw this kitchen on houzz.com and decided that she needs it.

She needs it BAD.

You may or may not know that there has been a longstanding "discussion" between my mom and dad about our kitchen.

Mom says needs new countertops; dad says "don't think so honey" and I say "are we seriously talking about this again?"

HOWEVER, now that I have seen this, shall we say DOG-CENTERIC, kitchen, I am thinking of throwing two paws up for mom's team next time the topic comes up.

And there are THREE bowls, which since I fly solo in our house would surely mean one for food, one for water, and one for TREATS!!!!!

Ahhh, imagine it puppers.

Westminster Dog Show Coming Soon!

The Westminster Dog Show is only 18 days away.

I am thinking about having a party.  You know, the pupper equivalent of the Super Bowl.

At this point it is in the conceptual stages .. you know, trying to figure out what we could drink slurpily out of my water bowl collection and drip all over the floor during the commercials.  White Dog Brew anyone?

Ohhhhh.

Bummer.

Probably shouldn't have put that out there what with all that floor cleaning that has been going on in our house.

I think it is safe to say that many, MANY of the pics that end up on this blog are of me doing what I do best.

Lounging.

Yes.  I have MASTERED it. 

Learned from a pro ... my mama. 

We LOUNGE like nobody's business.

A little head's up ...

OK, I know, not the best picture quality, but that is not the point.

The point is, puppers, that if you are going to sleep on the side of the tub, do NOT forget that you are there.

Last night I was sound asleep and when I started dreaming about all the playing I was gonna get to do at camp today,  I got a little chill of excitement.  So, naturally, I jerked a bit and next thing you know .... WHOOOOOOSH ... down into the tub I went.

Now, sliding into the tub is not that big of a deal in and of itself.

HOWEVER, I slid down with a bit of a bang.

Scared my mom and dad, who were sleeping in the bed nearby, TO DEATH, apparently.

Must have made quite a racket.

They were NOT HAPPY to be woken up in the middle of the night that way.

Nope.

Not happy at all.

Word to the wise: Sleep in your bed, puppers.  Just sleep in your bed.

It's a little pricey, coming in at $60, but it's a custom designed brass plate up there riveted on to the collar of your choice. Her pup has been wearing hers for 5 years and it's still looking good.

I hear you.

But, I don't do planes, so I'da never been across the pond in the first place.

Plus, even though I turned TWO last week and fancy myself pretty grown up and all, I do still suffer with an excitement pee from time to time.

My mom would KILL ME if I pee'd on The Princess.

And can't you just see if happening?????

She is so beautiful and so obviously a Westie lover that I just know the excitement would have gotten to me.

Things happen for a reason, puppers.

Anybody besides me watch the Golden Globes last night?  Everybody looked so pretty and all fancied up. 

And did you also notice that at one point a big group of people took their dog up on stage to get their award with them?

Ohhh, in my dreams!!!

It will happen.  I will be famous one day, I just know it ....

And when my mom takes me up to win my award, I think she will need these shoes.  Marc Jacobs  designed them and, to me, they look like a cute little pupper. 

Perfect for the occasion, yes???

In the Super Mercado in Costa Rica

For Christmas, my mom and dad gave me one whole week at puppy camp.   Woo hooo!  I had a blast. 

When they came back they let me know some great news.

It turns out we are famous EVERYWHERE.
