Of course I knew exactly how to get the treat out from under the ball, but I had to act like I didn't know at first just to entertain my peeps.

 

Then I had to do it real slow, so I could act like I was catching on, but really I totally already knew how to do it.  For sure.

 

Then, I had to do it a few times, and then act like I forgot. This part was so she would refill the muffin pan with treats and let me try again to make sure I really knew what I was doing.

 

Gotta love a mom who thinks practice makes perfect.

 

IT. WAS. AWESOME.

 

Puppers, I got so many treats.

And then things returned to normal ....

As quick as love day came, it went.  Reality returned, and it my case, it sucked.  Literally. Sucked up dirt, sucked up dog hair.  Sucked up dander.  It was NEW.  It was POWERFUL.  It scared me.  Get back in the closet, you evil machine!

I think I got the girl!!!!

I got all duded up for my girl Sophie hoping she'd be my Valentine ...

This is what I was looking at during my photo shoot.  Be still my heart!

And then all of a sudden, this showed up for me.  Could it be?????

Seriously, puppers.  If this one won't get the gurls, I just don't know what will ?!?!?!?!

I am nothing if not irreverent funny.  Could this be the way to go??

 

What do you think of this one?

 

On the one hand, I really like it's sophisticated understatedness.

 

On the other hand, I think it's safe to say I am anything but understated, so maybe it's not the right look to go with to charm the ladies?

 

I don't want anybody thinking I am something I am not and then breaking up with me once they get to know the real me.  That would totally defeat the purpose, yes?  Then again, a little sophistication in my life would do me good, so maybe this one is the way to go.

Preparing to charm the ladies ...

 

Sorry I have not posted in the past couple of days, but I have not been working on my Valentines.

 

Finding the perfect color scheme to charm the ladies with is proving to be hard work.

 

I think I will think on it a little bit more.

 

Perhaps tomorrow I will be able to show you something and get your thoughts on it.  I am going to need your help, and I am hoping to have several options for you to pick from. 

 

Friday is the day, and so far I have NOTHING.  Nada.  This does not bode well for my reputation as  a suave and debonair Prince Charming.

 

Good thing there's always tomorrow ...

Wordless Wednesday - Meow!

I may have been a bit hasty when I totally threw my mom under the bus delicately prompted my mom the other day to start making posting on my blog a bigger priority.

She will now go NOWHERE, absolutely NOWHERE without the flashy beast in hand. And not even the big flashy beast that takes real pictures.  She is toting around the phone and using that as a flashy beast, and she then texts dad the photos to preview saying things like "they are gonna looooove this one on the blog!"  Ugh.

I can't even nap behind the toilet, a private endeavor if ever there was one, without her showing up and taking a picture.

Point well taken.  Score one for Mom.
