In with the new ... GEEZE LOUISE

And then, when I thought mom was SURELY OUT OF MONEY to make any more changes and I was safe for another 10 years, all of a sudden the door opened and these STRANGERS CAME POURING IN with LOUD tools and GIANT boxes and things were going CLANG CLANG CLANG and BOOM CHUCKA LUCKA and I COULD NOT TAKE IT ANYMORE at all so I RAN AWAY which turned out to be a REALLY BAD IDEA but I was only down at Ms. Vickie's so I told mom to JUST CHILL OUT and that she really needed to STOP WITH ALL THE CHANGE and do you know what she said? OK, do you know what she said after she told me SHE DID NOT APPRECIATE MY TONE. She said OK, DUNCAN WE ARE DONE FOR NOW.
Thank heavens. My nerves are shot. And now we will not be blogging for a few days because as you all know very well I do not like change and I will need to calm my nerves by hiding under the sofa for a while. Like maybe a month or something.

And I think Mom owes me about 87 trips to the beach, yes?

Out with the Old .... Bye Bye Stinky

Well. I suppose the time was destined to come.
But, I am NOT happy about it.
As a part of all the stuff changing around here, my big stinky COMFORTABLE sofa got put to the curb. (Literally, by the way. It was quite a sight and I can't believe Mom was OK with it but I digress...)
Does that new sofa look nearly as comfortable to you?
Do I look comfortably hunkered down on that new back cushion?
I know, right? ABSOLUTELY NOT is what you are thinking.
But did anybody ask me before they made the change?
I think we all know the answer to that question, now don't we .......

In with the new ... ever so helpful!

Mom is making a bunch of changes around here and I am trying to be helpful.I also figure it will give me quality one on one time so I can share my opinions about what I think will work best around here.

Here Mom and I are making a template to determine the right size for an ottoman ...

Seems like the right size to me mom!

After this we had some rug selecting to do ... my opinion is particularly important on this one since I am closest to it!

Get this one mom ... it's VERY comfortable

An adventure I was NOT interested in ...

So the other day mom FINALLY took me out on an adventure.

However, I soon discovered that it was one of THOSE adventures.

You know, the kind where before you get any real adventure you have to take a thousand and 87 photos.

Well, I sure showed HER .....
