Let's go Mom!

Duncan: Let's go, Mom.

Mom: Where are we going, Duncan?

Duncan: To pick up chicks.

Mom:  I don't want to "pick up chicks" Duncan.

Duncan:  Tick-Tock, Mom.  Time's a wastin'.  I just got a haircut and I look real good.

Mom:  To use your words, Duncan ...Not Interested.

Duncan: To use YOUR words, Mom ... stubborn.

Mom:  You are the one sitting in the car not going anywhere.

Duncan:  You're the one talking out loud to a dog.

Mom:  Wow.
Duncan:  Hey, Mom.  I hear there is a sale on at that dog friendly mall.

Mom:  You win.  Let's go!

Well, hello everybody!

Did you miss me?
So sorry to go all MIA on you last week, but I was feeling a little under the weather.
Sick as a dog, if you will.
Think I know now where that phrase comes from.
TOTALLY wigged my mama out, I'll tell you.  I just could not get my stomach settled.
Suffice it to say, she is VERY happy that my tummy feels all better.
The carpet it pretty psyched too, but that is a whole different story.
All is well, puppers.

Happy Monday!

A typical conversation between me and mom ...

Mom:  Come on Duncan let's go.

Duncan:  I am comfortable.

Mom:  We came over to the park to walk, so let's walk.

Duncan:  You might have come over to walk.  I came to check it out.

Mom:  Well let's compromise then.  You can check it out while we walk.

Duncan:  No need to walk.  I can see everything from here.

Mom:  Soccer practice is starting Duncan and we are in the middle of their field.

Duncan:  I am a ball guy.  Think I will stay right here.

Mom:  DUNCAN YOU ARE EMBARASSING ME LET'S MOVE IT NOW BUDDY.

Duncan:  Gritting your teeth like that is bad for you mom.

Mom:  Don't make me drag you.  It will be embarass you in front of that cute Schnauzer over there.

Duncan:  What cute schnauzer?

Mom:  The one getting out of the car right next to ours.

Duncan:  Why are you moving so slow mom ... Let's GOOOOOOOO!!!!!

She's at it again!!!!

Bad quality photo.  I know.  There's only so many things I can control in this world, and mom's ability to get a good shot is NOT one of them.  Let's move on.

The old girl (mom) is at it again.

Whenever she feels like she isn't getting enough done or is feeling a little out of control about things, she cleans.

We've talked about it before -- she goes all "Martha Stewart" on me and dad.

This weekend it showed up in the form of participating in the Neighborhood Garage Sale.

WHAT WAS SHE THINKING?????

She had me and dad up at 5:30 to get ready.

She said she could go it alone, but dad and I are no fools.  We were right there with her every step of the way for fear she would sell OUR stuff too.

NOT ON MY WATCH!!!!

We were up so early that I eventually got a little tired and laid down under one of the tables.

Inadvertently put myself up for sale, if you will.

Thank heavens everytime somebody asked my dad how much for me he piped in with "we'll pay you to take him."  This brilliant methodology on Dad's part really made people lose interest in me pretty quick, despite my oh so very handsome face and effervescent charm.

Totally tally at the end for Mom and Dad?  A couple hundred dollars richer and still the proud owners of Duncan, the White Dog Blogger :)

Only 112 more days ....

Yo, puppers.  Or should I say HO HO HO, puppers.

Did you know it's only 112 days until Christmas?

Only 112 more days until GIFT BAG day.  Oh, how I love diving into a gift bag full of tissue.

IT'S GONNA BE GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason why we were counting the days in the first place is that my Nonnie and Pop are coming to meet met this Christmas and mom was wondering how much time she has to get my manners in tip-top shape.  Not that there is alot to improve on.

But I digress a little bit.

When we counted days we realized it's coming fast.  For those of you with lots of people on your list every year ... don't anybody panic!

Did you know we have a store

We don't talk about it much here because it's really not why we blog.  Our products are great, but I am way more interesting and all that ....

Anywoof, if you go to our store and type in NEVERTOOSOON when you check out, you will get 40% off any of our key chains between now and the end of the month.  If keychains don't help you scratch anybody off your list (pet sitter, anyone??) not to worry.  We'll have more coupons between now and the holidays.

It's never too soon to start your shopping, puppers.

It's just never too soon!
