Pssst ... puppers, are you there? I know it is Wordless Wednesday, but are you reading anyway? Look closely because this is important.
Tomorrow is a big day. It is going to involve lots of food. Here are a few things you need to know. First, suck in your cheeks and don't drink a lot of tummy bloating water with your breakfast. You want to appear hungry today so any visitors who don't know better will feed you under the table.
Also, if there are little people visiting, remember that they are both good news and bad news. Watch your tail -- they can be little tail yankers. On the flip side, they are also little food droppers. Hang near the kids' table -- this move will significantly increase your odds of getting to participate in the holiday meal, if you know what I mean. Wait for the drop -- jumping on the table is bad form.
Lastly, not all food is good. Do not go for the wish bone no matter what anybody says. It's good luck for people and bad luck for puppers. Stay away from bones.
Now go do what I am doing and rest up for the big day.
Good luck, puppers, good luck!
Yep Turkey Day across the pond is nearly here Duncan. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Sounds like you have it all worked out Duncan. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about you Westies that makes you so precious about having your tails yanked, Duncan? Gail tells me that my predecessor Hamish was just the same. Whereas you can pretty much pull my tail all you like, it's really all the same to me.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving.
Bertie (wishing we celebrated Thanksgiving in Scotland too, it sounds such fun).
You have some really good advise there Duncan.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tips and have a Enjoyable Thanksgiving.

You gotta keep up your strength so you can appear lethargic and famished.
ReplyDeleteKids often have food stuck to them, too. Don't forget to help clean them up.
