Finding Fall

Yesterday my mom sprung out of bed and nearly crushed me doing that by the way and said "Come On Duncan, we are going on an adventure."

I, of course, was thrilled.  I hurried up and ate my breakfast, did my business, and hopped in the car.

Where are we going mom?, I asked.

We, dear pupper, are going to find Fall, said my mom.

I, of course, think of falling as a bad thing, but sometimes the old girl surprises me so I held my tongue.

Sure enough, we ended up in a huge giant great big awesome park.

Woot Woot!!!

Shown below are some of the other visitors we met while we were there.  I must say, I was on my very best behavior and did not bark at any of the other dogs there (I know, shocker!) but I was not really too sure what to think of these other creatures ....

In the end I decided that ignoring them was probably the right way to go.  When in doubt, don't run and shout!  Yes, it took me 4 years to learn that.

In between running and sniffing and being on my bestest behavior (Santa, did you hear that??) I played in the leaves.  It was a pretty great adventure even if only my mom was there and not my dad too.

Come on, Thanksgiving.  We're ready!!

  1. Hi Duncan! We're so happy to see that you were able to find some beautiful fall leaves to play in. Our leaves are all off the tree's now and are wet and mushy on the ground. They don't go crunch crunch anymore they just go mush mush.

  5. Duncan I love it that your mom and you went on an adventure-looking for fall. What a good boy you were to be so well behaved. I know Hunter would have been growling and acting like a tough guy(but he really isn't, just acts like it). Thanks for sharing your fun time.
