An unusual adventure ...

In a rare turn of events, I actually got to have lunch with my mom and dad the other day.

It seems hunger got the best of them and they lost their minds decided it was time to give me another chance at dining out with them in public.

I have to say, it started off really well.

It ended badly, but it started off well.

For about the first two twenty minutes, I was able to keep my eye on the prize (getting out more) and totally minded my manners.

My manners were so impressive I actually impressed my self.

But then I saw him.

He was sitting in her lap and giving me the eye.

I tried in vain to ignore his fuzzy little butt.

But, alas, I was overcome.

Or rather, I TOTALLY LOST IT.

And that was that.

And I will be eating at home, alone, for the rest of my life.

Or at least until my pawrents are overcome by hunger to the point of losing their better judgement again.

I do have to say, it was nice while it lasted!!!!

  4. BOL Duncan. Don't they understand dat you were just saying hello to dat 'little bit' and dat maybe the 'little bit' had a hearing problem so you had to repeat everything. Not your fault that 'little bit' needs a hearing aid.

  6. First of all NOT YOUR FAULT. It's part of your job to bark at other dogs to protect your family (and their food). We think you're lucky you got to eat 'out' and that you lasted 20 minutes.
