The truth about our posting schedule ...

OK.  The fact of the matter is that I cannot totally blame the lack of blog posting around here on my mom.

You see, I am very popular and hanging out with my fan club and letting them adore me takes lots and lots of time.

I mean, seriously, it takes alot of energy to follow someone around all day and try to get them to rub my belly and tell me how cute I am.

Fortunately for me, my niece here was more than obliging.

I love her so much that one night when she went to bed without me I threw myself against the door and then, once let into the room, had a long conversation with my aunt explaining that YES, I was allowed in the bed.

Boy, they did not make that mistake twice!  The next night they put me right up in that bed with them and I slept on the top of K's head right where I belonged.  I don't know how comfortable they were, but I slept perfectly well, thank you very much.

Hurry back, people, hurry back!!!!

  3. Hi Duncan, Can you tell me why you like to sleep at their heads? Our Hunter did it for awhile but this human was really concerned that he thought he was top dog in our home so I made him stop. Glad your Aunt and niece followed your lead.
    Have a great day!

    1. I like to be at the highest point in any room so I can be a good watch dog. I also sit on the top of the sofa back when I am on duty and spend most of my day on the landing of the stairs so I can keep watch over the entire downstairs of my territory!

    2. Oh, and Pee S., there is no doubt in my house that I am, in fact, TOP DOG!

  7. Ah Duncan, mine made the mistake of trying to keep me out of the bedroom - but oh, how wrong it is to under -estimate the tenacity of a Westie. And like you, I now sleep on the bed and well, I'm comfortable - and that's the most important thing isn't it??
