A day in the life of Duncan ...

So apparently it kind of hurt my mom's feelings last week when I said she was a bad assistant.

Not enough to get her to fire up the dog mobile and take me out on some adventures worth blogging about, just enough to make her kind of bossy.

So she says to me "And what do YOU do all day that makes you too busy to do your own blogging?

Which made me think of the whole "paws on the keyboard thing" but I didn't want to get grounded for being sassy so I just said "Well, I am very busy doing some very busy types of things."

She didn't believe me, so she didn't really set up this time lapse photography thing.

And now I present photographic details of my very, very busy 8 hours while mom was at work today:

It's a wonder I have any energy left by the time she gets home ...

  1. Moms can be rather touchy, and we could all take lessons from you in how to manage them well.

  3. But what the photos don't show is that you were keeping a keen eye on everything, guarding the house, listening for strange noises, etc. It IS a wonder you have a spare minute to eat!

  4. We KNOW you're are ready to spring into action if an invader comes in your territory! Guarding the house is extremely important. And besides, you don't have thumbs.

  5. Duncan, Moms just don't appreciate all we do, huh? Don't they know we are guardin' the estate?? Keepin' robbers away from their valuables??

  7. Why you are contemplating your next move, can't she see that. Your brain is using up a lot of energy.

  8. Ah Duncan I hear you - I've been asked why I don't just do my the blogging on my own and very quietly I respond with "well, no opposable thumbs makes it a bit tough". Seriously. And I know that you aren't just lying around - thinking about blogs, walks etc is hard work, we just like to do that work in a comfortable position on the couch!!

  9. The only thing stopping them is the ideological dislike or irrational hatred of direct public sector job creation. Meanwhile, the potential of millions of workers is wasted every day. great dogs sites
