While we were gone, Dad bought Mom some new patio furniture. It's really, really comfy.
Mom is QUITE the lounger, so this was very well received. Some might call me a lounger as well, but really I am just trying to keep mom company as any well mannered pup would do, of course.
Mom considered taking a nap on the new sofa, but I felt like I needed to stay on guard in case any burglars showed up or anything.
I didn't really realize we were in trouble until dark set in. Dad brought out the wine and turned the lights on underneath the umbrella and that's when I knew we were in it for the long haul.
At first I really did think that mom was trying to set some world record for lounging, but I am pleased to report that we did eventually go inside.
It was a long one, puppers. It was a long one!
The furniture does look great- and a pawfect place to cover in white dog furs!
