Before things took a turn for the worse ...

Before things went south in that whole "brother" episode, Valentine's was going very, very well.

That lovely one up there is Ruby, and she is admiring the valentine I sent her. 

As you can see, I decided to ditch all the designs I had come up with and cut straight to the chase by sending her a picture of moi.  I didn't want to read anything into it being the laid back overly confident pupper that I am, but it does appear that she is looking at me kind of longingly, doesn't it?

Judging by the way things started to go after that, I sure hope she likes the "bad boy" type!!!

Life is a series of ups and downs, puppers.  That is the lesson I learned this Valentine's!
